Our loving and kind wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma passed away surrounded by those she loved on June 26, 2013. She was born April 10, 1926, in Delta Utah, to Carlisle and Thora Tippetts Little and was an amazing friend and great example to all those with whom she came in contact. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren and attended every concert, ball game, party, recital, and graduation. She enjoyed spending time with her family and looked forward to movie nights, game nights, and family trips. Truly, she loved life and embraced it to the fullest. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was married to her sweetheart, Gerald E. Wright Jr. on November 25, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple, and together they served three LDS missions, which included Cape Town, South Africa; London, England; and Tampa, Florida. Throughout Thora May's life, she held numerous callings for her church and loved to serve, particularly with the children. She is survived by her wonderful husband Gerald E. Wright Jr.; three children, Gaylyn (Dee) Allred, Wendy (Darron) Taylor, and Randall (Heidi) Wright; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren, and five siblings all of whom will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the LDS Cottonwood 12th Ward on 1750 East Spring Lane. A viewing will be held Friday evening at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, from 6:00-8:00 pm and at the ward house Saturday 11:30-12:30 pm prior to the funeral.
