It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Rose Sanchez/Clayton on December 13, 2024, at the age of 65. Tina, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, resided in Salt Lake City, Utah, and brought joy and love to everyone she encountered.
Tina was a woman of many passions. She loved dancing, with "Dancing Queen" by ABBA being a personal favorite. Her green thumb was unmatched, and she could often be found outside, lovingly tending to her garden on sunny days. She adored animals and was happiest when surrounded by her furry companions. Tina also had a gift for cooking, and her kitchen was a haven of warmth, love, and delicious meals that brought people together.
Tina’s greatest pride and joy were her children: her firstborn daughter, Tiffany; her son, Joey; and her youngest daughter, Shauntae. She cherished her family above all else and created a legacy of love and kindness that will be carried forward by those who survive her.
Tina’s beloved occupation was helping children safely cross the street as a school crossing guard. She cared deeply for the children in her community and took pride in keeping them safe, spreading kindness and smiles with every interaction.
Tina is survived by her devoted husband, Dan Clayton; her parents, Gilbert Joe Sanchez and Rose Lee Armstrong; her siblings, Tonya Sanchez and Gilbert Jr. Sanchez; and her children, Tiffany, Joey, and Shauntae. The loss of her presence leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of her loved ones.
To honor Tina’s memory and assist with funeral expenses, the family has set up a GoFundMe page. Contributions of any size are deeply appreciated and will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time. If you'd like to contribute, please visit https://gofund.me/86fa0a7a
We thank you for your love, prayers, and support as we grieve this incredible loss. Tina’s love, laughter, and light will forever remain in our hearts, and we find comfort in the hope of reuniting with her in heaven.
