Virginia Crosland Palmer

August 24, 1929 — September 7, 2010

Virginia Crosland Palmer of Holladay rejoined her Heavenly Father September 7th, 2010. Virginia was born to George and Clara Crosland of Holden, Utah. She married (exactly 62 years ago in the Manti Temple) her eternal companion L.W. (Bill) Palmer. Virginia supported and helped Bill build several successful companies in Utah.

Virginia lived and loved without constraint or limits and was passionate about her interests in European gardens and decor, American Saddlebred horses, and dogs. Virginia's true loves were the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and most importantly, her family.

She is survived by her loving husband L.W. (Bill) Palmer of Holladay; her beautiful daughters: Cynthia (Woodrow) Terry of Sandy, Claudia (Richard) Watts, of West Jordan, Stephanie (Jeffery) Bernson of Sandy; and her son, Scott (Suzanne) Palmer, of Park City. Virginia also has an adopted family, Keith and Laverne Crocker of Kearns. Her brother, Ivan (Helen) Crosland of Provo, and her sister Ann (Ken) Whiting of Las Vegas also survive Virginia. Her brother Ralph Crosland preceded her in death. Bill and Virginia have 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Virginia generously supported her Church, Primary Children's Hospital, and many other local charities. She was known for her kindness and compassion.

Virginia brought a sense of joy, beauty, class, and grace to everything she did.

A special thanks to all the wonderful friends and family for their love, support and concern throughout her many years of pain and suffering.
