Vonda Mae Fairchild Oborn

Vonda Mae Fairchild Oborn passed away on March 16, 2023 in Tooele, Utah. She was born April 16, 1917 in Burley, Idaho to Ansel Fairchild and Mabel Fletcher. She married Milton William Oborn on August 16, 1936.
She was an expert golfer. She loved four wheeling and gardening. She worked at the airport. She loved homemaking. She was a vendor and sold star scrolls as her own business. She owned and operated her own VHS store.
She had her first broken bones at the age of 93, wrecking her four-wheeler. She was transported to and from elementary school by horse and buggy. She has lived through two world wars, two pandemics and the Great Depression.
She is survived by her son Mick (Diane); 7 grandkids, 13 great-grandkids and 17 great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton (1968), daughter, Sharon (2018), granddaughter Wendy (2019), and grandson Jeff (2016).
Services will be held March 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah 84117. Interment will be at Memorial Holladay Cemetery.
