Walter C. Bussell

Walter C. Bussell, beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away in his home on April 22, 2012. Walter was born on May 4, 1926 in Riverside, California to Walter T. Bussell and Dessie Louise Bussell (both deceased).

Walter was a veteran of WWII, served in the USMC, and later retired from Hill AFB. He was married to Alice L. Lague on December 31, 1949. They were happily married for 52 years. Alice, his soul mate, passed away in 2002.

Walt was an avid fisherman, antique collector and fan of western novels and movies.

He is survived by his 4 children, Carlos J. (JoAnn) Bussell, Vickie L. Bussell-Tereau, Patrick M. (Margaret) Bussell, Paul J. (Judy) Bussell, 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was a member of St. Ambrose Parish in Salt Lake City.

Viewing will be held at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So. 2300 East, Fri. 04/27/12 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 So. 2300 East, Sat. 04/28/12, 11:00 a.m. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So.
