Warren Best

Warren Best passed away peacefully at the age of 90 with his family by his side on December 18, 2012. He was born February 23, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Josephine and Rupert Conk Best. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Marion Anderson on February 2, 1951 in the Logan Temple. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed writing poetry, singing, and woodworking.

Warren is survived by his wife, Marion; children, Kathryn Peters, Roger (Nancy) Best, Glade (Colleen) Best; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Benner (San Diego, CA).

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Noon at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, where friends and family can visit 10:45-11:45am prior to the service.
