Our beloved oldest daughter, Wendy Michelle London, passed away at her home on May 26, 2014. She was born to N. Clive London and Lois Huhl London in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 11, 1970. She took first place trophies in National Accordion Competitions, graduated from Skyline, and attended Salt Lake Community College for Emergency training.
Wendy loved her 20+ years of employment at VECC with fire dispatch. She made many strong co-worker friends, as well as fire and police officers with whom she worked. These friends say Wendy was the epitome of love as she would do anything for them. As Wendy struggled with diabetes and other health issues, she laughed at her motto: I'm not clumsy. It's just the floor hates me, the table and chairs are bullies, and the wall gets in the way.
Wendy is survived by her parents; and siblings, Carrie Harris (Jim) and their children whom Wendy lovingly "adopted" Cassandra, Jameson, Erica and Allie, and youngest sister, Heather. She phoned us daily with her "Just checking in" tradition, and we will miss that greeting. She also moved in and cared for her elderly grandparents for several years .
