Westley King Mickelsen

May 21, 1964 — November 10, 2022

Westley King Mickelsen, returned home to heaven, Thursday November 10, 2022 (age 58), surrounded by his loving family and friends. Wes was born on May 21,1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
A highlight of his youth was working with his family on a church dairy farm. It was through his time spent there, that he truly grew to love his family and the outdoors. He enjoyed horseback riding, hunting, fishing, and shooting. His singing voice was a gift that everyone loved. He was a master of all trades but was most admired for his woodwork skills.
As a father of 3 children, he was an amazing multitasker. Not only was he a fun and loving dad but he was a very hard worker. Many people called him “Mr. Fix It”, because he was always quick to help anyone in need. Wes worked as a Journey Plumber and expert on the infrastructure at the Utah Air National Guard Base, until his retirement.
He would say that one of his biggest accomplishments was being a Grandpa. His grandchildren always brought a smile to his face.
Westley is survived by his three children; Nathan Mickelsen, Sarah Mickelsen, (Steven Atwood), Emily, (Adalid) Delgado. Six Grandchildren; Philip, Phoebe Mickelsen, Kiah Atwood-Parker, Isabella, Jayden, Alondra Delgado.
