Wilford (Bill) Rohrbach Woodruff

September 1, 1926 — March 8, 2011

Bill passed away on March 8, 2011 at the age of 84 after a short illness. He was born on September 1, 1926 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Leo Edgar and Edna Elvina (Rohrbach) Woodruff and was the youngest of ten children. After graduating from high school in Columbia, OH he continued his formal education at the University of Utah graduating with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering in 1948. Bill loved animals adopting and caring for all types. In his later years, he spent many hours on his front porch communicating with the local blue jays who adopted him. He was an avid reader with a broad interest in all subjects and could consume a book in a couple of days.

Bill was a faithful member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many positions. He particularly remembered his time serving on the Church General Board Dance Committee, the scouting program, and as a gospel doctrine instructor.
