William P. Durborow Sr.

William “Bill” Paul Durborow Sr. (1933-2021) passed from this mortal realm in peace on March 31st at 87 years of age, in the presence of those he loved. Son of Joseph Paul Durborow and Edith Mary Zimmerman, Bill was the last of his siblings to return to our Heavenly Father, having served his country with distinction in the U.S. Navy and retired from the High Temp Plant at University of Utah. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine Louise Mary (Carden) Durborow (2002); Bill is survived by his daughter MaryEllen, and sons Joseph, William Jr., and Robert, 32 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family, whom he loved without reserve or condition. Known for his service to community, country, church, and family, Bill’s giving heart will be sorely missed. Bill lived a good and honorable life, loved well, and served without reservation.
A memorial service will be held at the LDS church located at 7171 S 2700 W in West Jordan at 11 AM on Saturday, April 10th, 2021. Viewings will be held at the same location on Friday, April 9th, 2021 from 5-8 PM and Saturday, April 10th, 2021 from 10-10:45 AM. God be with you til we meet again. Interment following service at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah 84123.
