Wilma Mae Leikam

July 21, 1942 — April 3, 2024

Sandy, Utah

Wilma Mae Leikam, born Wilma Mae McHenry on a warm day in 1942 in Springville, Missouri, bid farewell to the world on a peaceful day in Sandy, Utah. She was the beloved of Richard Lee Leikam and a caring mother to Debra Ann Leikam Proveaux, Richard Ray Coombs, Jeffery Scott Leikam, and Cindy Kay Sprouse Phonsavaddy. Wilma was also a cherished grandmother to her grandkids, great-grandkids, and even great-great-grandkids.

In her remarkable 37-year career at BD Medical, Wilma displayed unwavering dedication and commitment. However, her true passion lay in creating lasting memories with her loved ones. She found immense joy in embarking on girls' trips with her daughters and cherishing moments spent with her family.

Wilma's kind and loving nature touched everyone she met. Her compassionate soul, coupled with a great sense of humor, brought light into the lives of those around her. She was known for her generosity, always putting others before herself. Wilma's love for dance was a reflection of the rhythm with which she approached life - full of grace and joy.

Amongst all her accomplishments, Wilma held raising her children closest to her heart. Her proudest achievement was ensuring that her family felt loved unconditionally and secure. She provided a nurturing sanctuary for her loved ones, always welcoming them with open arms.

In her leisure time, Wilma delighted in watching movies and attending concerts. These simple pleasures brought immense happiness to her life.

Wilma Mae Leikam's departure from this world left a void that can never be filled. Her memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. Your legacy of love and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those you leave behind.
