Wynne Page Hintze passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 78 in her beloved home. She was a mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Wynne was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Wynne was born on August 27, 1944, to Waldo Gwynne and Marjorie Day Page, she is the oldest of 4 girls. She grew up in Magna, Utah where her family owned Page Motors. They later moved to Midvale, Utah where she followed the tradition of her mother and grandmother by graduating from Jordan High School.
Wynne married Denny Peterson young in life and welcomed their son Darren. They later divorced. Years later Wynne was blessed to find Glenn Jay Hintze, they married, and Jay brought 4 more boys to her family. Wynne and Jay enjoyed 42 years of marriage before his passing in 2022.
Wynne worked for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office in many capacities and created lifelong friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, ceramics, camping, game nights and planning family get togethers. She and Jay served as Family History Consultants at the Utah State Prison, Temple workers at the Draper Utah Temple and many other church callings. Family was important to Wynne, and she always showed them her love and support. She was a favorite in her neighborhood and loved visiting with young and old.
Wynne is survived by her children:  Darren (Areta) Peterson, Glenn (Pam) Hintze, daughter in law Robyn Hintze (Mark-deceased), Alan (Tory) Hintze, Hartland (Suzi) Hintze.  Sisters Sheila Page (Michael Cox), Marcia Perkes (Billy Sheffield), Nineteen grandchildren, Forty-six great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Glenn Jay Hintze, sister Shannon Page and son Mark Hintze.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday June 3, 2023, at the Church Building, located at 13112 South 700 East, Draper, Utah 84020.  A viewing will be held on Friday June 2, 2023, from 6-8 PM at the church, and Saturday from 12:00-12:45 am prior to the services.  Internment will be at the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
