Yaw Opoku Agyemang

Yaw Opoku Agyemang, a husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on March 12, 2023, at the University of Utah Hospital. Yaw was born in Ghana, son of Kwasi Opoku Agyemang and Grace Ama Nyarko. He earned his SSCE at Asanteman Secondary School, earned his certification as a teacher at Offinso College of Education. He eventually moved to the United States and secured his bachelor’s and master’s degree in respiratory therapy at Weber State University in 2018 and 2021 respectively. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Huntsman Cancer Center and the VA – Dept of Oxygen. Yaw is married to the love of his life Linda, and they are blessed with three girls, Kaitlyn, Grace and Michaela.
When not working, Yaw enjoyed hanging out with his wife and daughters, loved traveling around the states and to Ghana.
Surviving are his wife (Linda) daughters (Kaitlyn, Grace and Michaela), Mother (Grace Ama Nyarko) and Siblings (Albert, Doris, Comfort, Rita, Phillipa).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery located at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan, Utah.
