Zacarious Cecil Crookston

Zacarious Cecil Crookston passed away as a result of a head-on collision while traveling to work, when his Kia Soul was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Tragically, neither driver survived the accident.

Zacarious lived a life defined by his love of games, imagination, and time spent with others. He enjoyed all forms of gaming, whether on his phone, computer, or various gaming systems, and he took great joy in sharing these interests with friends and family. When giving gifts, he often chose games, hoping to create moments of connection and shared enjoyment.

He frequently traveled to Duchesne to play Disney Villainous with his parents and any friends he could persuade to join. While living in Magna, Zacarious regularly gathered with friends to host sessions of Dungeons & Dragons and to play Magic: The Gathering, fostering creativity, camaraderie, and lasting friendships. Prior to the passing of his uncle, he also spent many weekends riding horses with family and friends-activities that reflected his appreciation for time spent together and for the outdoors.

Though his life was brief, Zacarious's days were filled with companionship, imagination, and meaningful connections. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

His memory will live on through his family and friends, who are committed to completing his truck in his honor.

Zacarious will be cremated. There will be a viewing prior to the cremation on Wednesday, February 18th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121. A memorial service will be held following the cremation on Thursday, February 19th, at 6:00pm at Memorial Murray Mortuary. Zacarious's honorary pallbearers are Roger Crookston, Jacob Warby, Christopher Jones, Edward Jones, Daniel Nielsen, and Victoria Crookston.

Through family, friendship, and the lives he touched, Zacarious's spirit will continue to be present.
